About the event

We invite you and your guests to join us to celebrate our renovations at the Hill Countries newest Wedding and Event Center hosted by Vintage Oaks Farm.  Enjoy great live music, delicious hors d’oeuvres, wine, and tours of our beautiful grounds and lodging.

We'll have 3 Amazing Performers:

This uniquely energetic and creative singer accompanies herself with guitar, banjo, accordion, ukelele, harmonica, and umpteen odd or home-made instruments. Her musical styles range from mostly folk and swing to old western songs, a touch of blues, bluegrass or even an occasional rap. And she may do a little story-telling or recite cowboy poetry between songs, if the time is right.

Jack Hannah, The Sons of the San Joaquin describes her best:  "The first time I heard this beautiful lady sing is still a memorable experience. As I listened in awe, I knew I was listening to a voice that possessed the ultimate components in vocal beauty, the qualities of texture, timber and resonance, essential for greatness which she employed exquisitely.

Juni creates moods that run the gambit from sunshine bright and cheerful, to plush, warm and dark. Like all great performers, she can modulate the voice, singing in her complete vocal range effortlessly painting pictures with her voice. She accompanies herself on the guitar with a professional deftness that compliments her totally relaxed performance style.

A crucial element of Juni's uniqueness includes the gift of superb song writing. Her original compositions can leave you breathless, tickle your funny bone, or tug at your heart strings all in one concert. I know, because I am speaking from personal experience. When Juni sings one of her Celtic ballads, you would swear she was singing of her native land.

Juni Fisher just happens to be one of those rare artists who has it all. It also doesn't hurt when you discover the delightful truth that this wonderful talent is a great person."

San Francisco-born Hale Baskin and her Jazz Addiction certainly live up to their name. They are addicted to exemplary musicianship, hip changes and deep grooves which enhance the vocal stylings of this talented young chanteuse.

Baskin is endowed with a clear, beautiful voice, a sure sense of swing, and a seemingly innate sense of the nuances of Jazz phrasing. She moves effortlessly from channeling the stompin' swing of the 1920's, to evoking songbirds of the 1940's Big Bands, to Ella Fitzgerald-inspired Jazz favorites, all the way to Motown, soul, and down-home blues.
